  • BISMARCK, N.D. - In accordance with a proclamation signed by President Barack Obama, Governor Jack Dalrymple has proclaimed Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, a day of prayer in North Dakota, and has directed all state government agencies to fly the American and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise until noon on that day.

    In addition, Dalrymple calls on North Dakotans to observe the President’s request that Americans unite in prayer at 11 a.m. local time on that day, and that a moment of silence also be observed at 3 p.m. local time for the National Moment of Remembrance.

  • BISMARCK, ND – Gov. Jack Dalrymple today challenged the state’s college and university leaders to expand private-sector partnerships that help prepare students for tomorrow’s high-demand occupations and contribute to North Dakota’s continued economic development.

  • BISMARCK, N.D. – In accordance with a presidential proclamation, Gov. Jack Dalrymple has declared Sunday, May 15, Peace Officers Memorial Day in the state and has directed all state government agencies to fly the American and North Dakota flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on that day. The flags will be lowered to honor law enforcement officials who have fallen in the line of duty.
