Caspers Resigns From Higher Education Board
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor Hoeven today announced the resignation of Craig Caspers from the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education.
In a letter to the governor, Caspers stated: “Five years of service is as much time as I can give to my state with the challenges and demands of operating a small business.”
“Craig’s leadership over the past several years has influenced the Board’s actions in advancing the Higher Education Roundtable recommendations,” Hoeven said. “He clearly recognized the changing needs of the state and the importance of continued work between Higher Education, the Legislature and the private sector to enhance our university system, as well as our economic development efforts.”
Persons interested in serving on the State Board of Higher Education should contact Dr. Wayne Sanstead, Superintendent of Public Instruction at (701) 328-4572.
