Hoeven To Roll Out State's Amber Alert Network
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor John Hoeven will hold a news conference Friday, August 30 at 10 a.m. in the Governor’s Conference Room at the State Capitol to discuss the executive order he will issue to implement a statewide Amber Alert network.
Hoeven will be joined in the news conference by Col. Jim Hughes, Superintendent, N.D. Highway Patrol; Harold Narum, Deputy Director, N.D. Division of Emergency Management; Rick Hessinger, Acting Director, N.D. State Radio (Division of Office of Management and Budget); Beth Helfrich, Executive Director, N.D. Broadcasters Association; Rob Roggenbuck, President, N.D. Chiefs of Police Association; Pat Heinert, representing the N.D. Sheriffs Association; and other state officials.
