Gov. Kelly Armstrong issued a statement after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it has finalized the repeal of the burdensome Biden-era power plant regulations known as “Clean Power Plan 2.0,” which threatened to destabilize the nation’s power grid by forcing the closure of coal-fired electrical generation plants in North Dakota and beyond.

Gov. Kelly Armstrong has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff on Friday, and encourages North Dakota residents to do the same at their homes and businesses, in remembrance of those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
