Gov. Kelly Armstrong announced the opening of the application period for school, community and church bands, orchestras and choirs across North Dakota to apply to serve as the Governor’s Official State Band/Orchestra Program and Choral Program for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Gov. Kelly Armstrong thanked Job Service North Dakota Executive Director Pat Bertagnolli for his leadership of the agency over the past four years after Bertagnolli announced his retirement effective June 12.

Gov. Kelly Armstrong announced national champion wrestlers, legendary wrestling coaches and twin brothers Terry Steiner and Troy Steiner as the 51st and 52nd recipients of the North Dakota Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award, the highest commendation bestowed upon the state’s citizens.

Gov. Kelly Armstrong thanked U.S. service members and prayed they remain safe throughout the military operations.

The North Dakota Emergency Commission, chaired by Gov. Kelly Armstrong, unanimously approved funding to expand the use of GPS monitoring bracelets to all residents of transitional facilities to enable real-time supervision and enhance public safety.
