As the General Counsel for the Office off the Governor, you'll be responsible for providing the Governor with prompt legal advice necessary to support the administration of North Dakota’s government for the benefit of the citizens of North Dakota.
The Director of Scheduling strategically organizes the Governor’s schedule to maximize his strengths, as driven by stated goals and objectives, and works closely with the Governor’s staff, to maintain consistency and real-time understanding of priorities and preferences, balancing those with competing demands. The Director of Scheduling also serves as Executive Assistant to the Lieutenant Governor.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented, high-energy, and views challenges as opportunities. One who manages multiple tasks with enthusiasm and maintains a confident calm amid the busiest of environments. This person will be a strong communicator, super-organized yet highly flexible, accountable, assertive, a quick study who is eager to learn, and able to collaborate/suggest improvements on increasing efficiency.
This internship is an opportunity to contribute across many functions in our office including policy research, communications, projects, boards and commissions and constituent services. Position will work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
