BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum today announced he will deliver the 2018 State of the State Address on Jan. 23 at Minot State University.

The governor will highlight the state’s challenges and successes from the past year and outline his vision and agenda for the future. Today marks the one-year anniversary of Burgum and Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford taking the oath of office.

The State of the State Address will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall on the MSU campus. The Greater North Dakota Chamber is sponsoring the event, which will be livestreamed.

The event is free and open to the public, and seating is limited. To register, visit the governor’s official website at www.governor.nd.gov and click on the link under Upcoming Events, where a video invitation from the governor also is posted.
