BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Kelly Armstrong on Wednesday will survey tornado and wind damage from last Friday’s storm, meet with local leaders and thank volunteers helping with cleanup in and around the communities of Enderlin, Page and Hunter. The governor will hold a media availability while in Page.

Joining the governor will be Brig. Gen. Mitch Johnson, adjutant general of the North Dakota National Guard and director of the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services, and state Homeland Security Division Director Darin Hanson.

Armstrong declared a statewide disaster Saturday and activated the State Emergency Operations Plan after multiple tornadoes, strong winds and hail caused widespread damage across the state Friday, claiming the lives of three people.
