Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff until sunset Saturday, May 28, and encourages North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses, in honor and remembrance of the victims of today’s shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

Gov. Doug Burgum signed an executive order granting a waiver of hours of service requirements for drivers of commercial motor vehicles transporting all agricultural inputs, including dry fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, pesticides and seed, to assist producers in North Dakota who are facing a delayed spring and limited timeframe for planting and treating fields.
