Lt. Gov. Gov. Doug Burgum will welcome educators, administrators, students and community leaders to the eighth annual Governor’s Summit on Innovative Education on Monday, June 17, at the National Energy Center of Excellence at Bismarck State College.

Gov. Doug Burgum and Lt. Gov. Tammy Miller will participate in the grand opening Monday of the new Innovation Shop at Grand Farm just west of Casselton. The Innovation Shop is the first building constructed on the Innovation Campus, a place where growers, industry professionals and researchers will collaborate to deliver innovative solutions and to demonstrate and research the latest in agriculture technology.

Gov. Doug Burgum will lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the new North Dakota State Laboratory on Tuesday, April 16, on the Capitol grounds. Joining him will be Lt. Gov. Tammy Miller, who chairs the North Dakota State Laboratory Steering Committee and the Capitol Grounds Planning Commission, as well as state legislators, cabinet members and leadership from North Dakota Health and Human Services and the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality.
