Gov. Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff on Monday, May 31, until noon, and encourages North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses, in observance of Memorial Day.

In accordance with a proclamation issued by President Joe Biden, Gov. Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff until sunset Sunday, May 30, and encourages North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses, in honor and remembrance of the victims of Wednesday’s shooting in San Jose, Calif.

Adam Gustafson, who died while on duty May 18 at the age of 40.

Gov. Doug Burgum today announced that the Bismarck Legacy High School Wind Ensemble and Larimore High School Senior Choir have been selected as the 2021 Governor’s Official State Band and Choral Programs.

In a phone call with U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Gov.
