Gov. Doug Burgum on Monday will survey damage and ongoing response efforts to historic wildfires in western North Dakota with the adjutant general of the North Dakota National Guard, Brig. Gen. Mitch Johnson.

Doug Burgum will join local, state and federal officials Monday at Hector International Airport in Fargo for a groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction to expand and modify the airport’s existing passenger terminal and build a parking garage. Burgum will deliver remarks highlighting the state’s role in the projects and the importance of modern, efficient airports to North Dakota’s quality of life and economic success.
 

Gov. Doug Burgum will welcome educators, administrators, students and community leaders to the eighth annual Governor’s Summit on Innovative Education on Monday, June 17, at the National Energy Center of Excellence at Bismarck State College.

Gov. Doug Burgum and Lt. Gov. Tammy Miller will participate in the grand opening Monday of the new Innovation Shop at Grand Farm just west of Casselton. The Innovation Shop is the first building constructed on the Innovation Campus, a place where growers, industry professionals and researchers will collaborate to deliver innovative solutions and to demonstrate and research the latest in agriculture technology. 

Gov. Doug Burgum, alongside North Dakota Parks and Recreation Director Cody Schulz, Rendezvous Region Tourism Council President Angelle French and local youth, will break ground on North Dakota’s 14th state park at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Pembina Gorge State Park.
