Gov. Doug Burgum, alongside North Dakota Parks and Recreation Director Cody Schulz, North Dakota Game and Fish Director Jeb Williams, state Tourism and Marketing Director Sara Otte Coleman, business leaders and other partners, will launch the Office of Outdoor Recreation at a press conference Thursday, May 9, at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, south of Mandan.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum on Thursday, May 9, will present to state agency leaders his executive budget guidelines for the 2025-2027 biennium.

Gov. Doug Burgum will lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the new North Dakota State Laboratory on Tuesday, April 16, on the Capitol grounds. Joining him will be Lt. Gov. Doug Burgum, State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler and State Treasurer Thomas Beadle will be joined by other state officials for a press conference Tuesday, April 2, to launch “Smart with My Money,” a multi-agency effort aimed at making North Dakota the most financially literate state in the nation.

Gov. Doug Burgum will unveil the official portrait of International Music Camp founder Dr. Merton Utgaard, who was posthumously honored in July as the 47th recipient of the North Dakota Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award, the state’s highest commendation for its citizens.
