Gov. Doug Burgum issued a statement on the passing of former state legislator Rae Ann Kelsch of Mandan, who served in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 1991 to 2012, chairing the House Education Committee for much of that time.

The North Dakota Governor’s Office, the North Dakota Department of Commerce and the Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND) presented the Governor’s Choice Economic Development Awards Oct. 29 during the EDND Fall Conference in Minot.
